The proportion of renewable power generation in the world has been increasing recent years. However, fluctuations and uncertainties bring a considerable challenge to future unit scheduling. Therefore, flexibility systems becomes more critical as large amount is integrated into systems. use flexible generators with energy storage one most efficient methods improving system flexibility. primary purpose this study explore effect on cost A index used evaluate Taiwan system, multi-scenario analysis for integration considered. This also considers various constraints, such commitment actual hydro thermal units, scheduling internal combustion engines (ICEs) systems, possible curtailments generation.
